This policy explains what information Casa Simple collects, how we use it, and the choices you have — including how we handle mobile phone numbers and text-message consent.
1. Who we are
Casa Simple ("Casa Simple," "we," "us," or "our") is a licensed Florida real estate brokerage with offices at 5801 NW 151 St, Suite 306, Miami Lakes, FL 33014. This policy applies to casasimple.net and the related services we operate.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you give us. Name, email address, mobile phone number, Florida real estate license number, years licensed, and the other details you submit through our agent application, contact forms, or website chat.
- Messages you send us. The content of text messages, chat conversations, emails, and calls between you and Casa Simple, including messages handled by ELLA, our AI assistant.
- Automatically collected information. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and similar analytics data collected through cookies and comparable technologies.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request;
- Review and process applications from licensed real estate agents;
- Send you text messages you have consented to receive, as described in Section 4;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services;
- Comply with legal, regulatory, and real estate licensing obligations.
4. Text messaging and mobile information
If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages, we use it to send the messages described in our Terms of Service. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you can request help by replying HELP or calling us at (305) 564-1290.
No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This exclusion applies to every other sharing category described in Section 5.
We share mobile numbers only with the service providers that deliver messages on our behalf — for example, our messaging platform and telecommunications carriers — and only so that those messages can reach you. Those providers are contractually restricted to using the information for that purpose alone.
5. How we share information
Subject to the mobile-information exclusion in Section 4, we may share personal information with:
- Service providers who host our systems, deliver messages, process applications, or provide analytics, under agreements limiting their use of the data;
- Professional advisors such as attorneys, accountants, and auditors;
- Regulators and authorities where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others;
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own independent marketing.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies; some features may not work correctly if you do.
7. Website chat
Our website includes a chat widget provided by a third-party messaging platform. Messages you send through it, along with any contact details you provide, are transmitted to that platform and stored in our customer records so we can respond. Do not use the chat to send sensitive information such as financial account numbers or government identification numbers.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and to satisfy the record-retention requirements that apply to Florida real estate brokerages, then delete or de-identify it. Opt-out records are retained as long as necessary to honor your request.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your choices and rights
- Text messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Access, correction, and deletion. Contact us at the address below to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will respond as required by applicable law.
11. Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version, and material changes will be posted here.
